My Top Apps of 2014

Inspired by this post from M.G. Siegler, I’m taking a look at the apps that I used the most in 2014. I’ll also make note of the apps that have been replaced by another app in the same category.

Apps that I use the most

  • Sunrise – Calendar app that syncs with Google, iCloud, Exchange, Tripit, Trello, Swarm, etc. Love the iPhone app.
  • Simple – great bank.
  • Rdio
  • Lose It! – food and exercise logging
  • Instagram
  • Swarm
  • Beats Music – listen when working out.
  • Facebook
  • Tweetbot – still my favorite twitter app.
  • Trello – organizes my life.
  • Slack – best work collaboration tool. Period.
  • Simplenote – easy note taking. Use it for everything.
  • Headspace – guided meditation for mindfulness.
  • Remote
  • Passbook – iOS built in. use it for travel, apple pay, movie tickets, and more.
  • Instasize – handy app for Instagram
  • Inbox – best email client ever.
  • Messenger
  • CloudMagic – for work email.
  • Tripit – so helpful for travel.
